Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Illinois, many efforts led and created by Census advocates will need to change in order to ensure a complete count in our state. The safety and health of staff, volunteers, colleagues, and leaders is of the upmost importance for Forefront's IL Count Me In 2020 program. In order to ensure our partners are making informed choices about their staff and programs, we have compiled a list of links on Census & COVID-19 resources as advocates consider digital communications strategies, phone banking, or other outreach during the virus pandemic.
As our communities work to contain and combat the spread of COVID-19, it is important for advocates to remind them that it has never been easier to respond to the Census, and the Census will count everyone accurately. People can fill out the Census in three ways: online, by phone, or paper questionnaire.
