We need everyone who lives in Illinois to complete the Census form. Without a full count, we can't draw maps that accurately reflect our state.
The 2020 Census determines how much money Illinois gets from the federal government. These tens of billions of dollars make up a good portion of Illinois' own budget and fund major programs such as: Medicaid, Highway Planning and Construction, the National School Lunch Program, and Head Start.
If Illinois misses even one percent of its residents in the 2020 Census count, the state will lose at least $120 million in federal grants every year over the next decade.
Be sure to get counted.
